Hello there!

I’m Brooj, a UX/UI designer based in Berlin, with roots in humanitarian architecture. Exploring how design can support identity, connection & everyday encounters.Still learning, still curious. Building a path that makes sense as I walk it.

About

Stepping from creating "a physical user experience" as an architect into creating "a virtual one" as a user experience designer to express my creativity in a realm outside of architecture but that still adopts the design thinking and process that brings me joy.

Through my multidisciplinary background, I worked with people from different nationalities, and work experiences, I have learned collaboration and effective ways to develop, synthesize and launch ideas.

In addition to having solid experience leading teams. I am also curious by nature and I love exploring and staying updated about the new trend in design. As a humanitarian architect, I learned to prioritize the user experience at the center of my work to solve problems and develop intuitive and enjoyable experiences. I am an eager designer and I approach design, work, and life with enthusiasm  “Nothing was ever achieved without enthusiasm”.

I thrive with creative teams that have a passion for exchanging knowledge and an aspiring environment that values ethical design approaches.

Resourceful As an engineer, I approach problems systemically and focus on the physical aspect. At the same time, my humanitarian architecture training has fostered a holistic approach to design from human-centered tools to technical design skills.

Reliable It is easy to love our solutions but it is important to remember that we are not the users,  I believe that in order to build trust with the users we need to iterate and offer plan B, also be prepared to test and get feedback. Ready with reasons and ready to be wrong.

Curious There is always a spark! Owing to my diverse background and experience in different countries, I embrace new challenges with enthusiasm and curiosity. Curiosity to tap into new ideas, and processes and to dive into problems to solve them.
